Information you submit
When you request a quote, we collect the contact name, company, business email, country or region, and the product and project information you provide. A phone number and estimated quantity are optional.
You may also choose to upload images, PDF, CAD and 3D files. File names and technical metadata are recorded with the inquiry.
Why we use it
We use this information to review and respond to your business inquiry, understand the application and manufacturing scope, discuss materials and tooling, prepare follow-up questions, and maintain a record of the commercial conversation. We do not use inquiry files as public website content.
Storage and notification
Accepted inquiry records are kept in FORMSTEC's private website backend. Attachments are stored privately and are not exposed through public file links.
An authenticated Feishu notification is sent to FORMSTEC when a new inquiry is accepted. It contains the inquiry summary and attachment metadata, not attachment bytes or public download URLs. Authorized staff review files through the protected administration area.
Retention
Accepted inquiries are retained as business records without automatic deletion so FORMSTEC can preserve project history, respond to later follow-up, and maintain an audit trail. If you want us to review a deletion or correction request, contact us using the address below. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, security, contractual, or dispute-handling purposes.
Service providers and security
We use limited infrastructure and business-messaging providers to host the site, store inquiry records and private files, and deliver notifications. Access is restricted to the business purpose described here. We apply technical controls such as private object storage, authenticated administration, upload inspection, rate limiting, and audit records, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
